Contrave is not approved for use in children and should not be used in patients with:
- Uncontrolled high blood pressure
- Seizure disorders or a history of seizures
- Anorexia nervosa or bulimia
- Drug or alcohol withdrawal
- Using other medications containing bupropion
- Using opioid pain medications or undergoing opioid withdrawal
